- 12 Undergraduate Research Assistants/Tutors (RA/T) : work in chemistry, physics, biology, environmental and computer science.
- 2 Residence/Recreation Supervisors (Res/Rec) : get the chance to organize and implement programming for youth while taking on a supervisor/mentor role.

Undergraduate Research Assistants/Tutors (RA/T):
This is a two-fold position requiring participants to perform research duties under the direction of a scientist or engineer while also preparing, guiding and supervising high school students throughout the project. RA/Ts are assigned to an original project and assist the high school students in following through each stage of the project including the completion of a research report.
The work term lasts 16 weeks. The first nine weeks consist of familiarization with research procedures and protocols, performing research assistant duties, assisting the project supervisor and preparing the project for the students including the creation of learning plans. In the following six weeks, Research Assistants conduct tutor related duties: Guiding students through the research, assisting students with assignments and explaining scientific concepts. The last week of the work term is used to complete project details.

Residence/Recreation Supervisors:
The work term lasts 6.5 weeks and starts the Wednesday prior to the arrival of the high school students.
During the 6-week program specific duties include: supervising the students at all times that they are not on a project job site and under the supervision of their tutor; ensuring that the students are prepared for project attendance each day and that they are safely transported to and from the project site; maintaining strong and continuous communication with all students and the Program Director; and, under the direction of the Program Director, help to plan and oversee recreational activities for the students.

Program Director:
This position entails oversight of the Summer Science Immersion Program as well as the summer staff. The Program Director is responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly. This includes creating schedules and managing staff, planning and implementing extra curricular events, liaising with service providers, security personnel, tutors, residential recreation supervisors and ensuring all student documents are received. This position is for someone with experience in event planning, as well as working with youth, and carries a lot of responsibility, which is what makes the position so rewarding.
